National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR)

Responsibilities or duties

  • Assist with routine personnel and administrative functions.
  • Support recruitment of project personnel.
  • Maintain personnel records.
  • Assist in validating staff payroll.
  • Prepare appointment letters and employment contracts.
  • Coordinate staff training and maintain training records.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, institutional policies, and donor requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring staff performance against project objectives.

Qualifications or requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Human Resources Planning and Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration (HRM), or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Experience needed

  • At least two years of experience in an administrative role within NIMR projects.

  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence, innovation, teamwork, and efficiency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
