We’re currently seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to oversee people, administration, and compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labor, immigration, and statutory regulations (NSSF, PSSF, WCF, SDL, OSHA).
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, induction, and workforce planning.
- Lead employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
- Oversee training needs analysis, staff development, and performance reviews.
- Supervise administration staff and ensure effective support services.
- Handle work permits, residence permits, business visas, visitor invitations, and guest accommodations.
- Manage office facilities, utilities, and supplier contracts.
- Support HR digitization, dashboards, and HRIS initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR or Administrative professional certification (CIPD/SHRM) is an added advantage.
- 6-8 years’ HR and administration experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and immigration requirements.
- Experience in a logistics environment is preferred.
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong HR and admin management capability.
- Knowledge of work permits, visas, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Proficiency in HRIS, SAP, and MS Office.
