HUMAN RESOURCE INTERNSHIP (3 positions)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Human Resource Intern supports the HR department in daily operations and assists in implementing HR policies and procedures. This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience in human resource management and organizational development.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Support onboarding activities such as preparing employee files, orientation materials, and documentation.
  • Help maintain employee records and ensure all HR files are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist in handling basic employee inquiries and escalate complex issues to the HR Manager.
  • Support the performance management process by organizing appraisal documents and tracking deadlines.
  • Assist in organizing training sessions, workshops, and employee development programs.
  • Help with payroll data preparation, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at improving workplace culture and employee engagement.
  • Conduct research on Human Resources best practices and local labor laws as needed.
  • Assist in preparing Human Resources reports, summaries, and presentations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Recently completed a degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, and any other related field.
  • Basic understanding of Human Resources principles and labor laws is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to team success
