Position Overview
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This includes recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, policy development, and compliance with labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Support current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation, and retention of staff.
- Oversee performance management and staff appraisals.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Handle disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
- Create and manage HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field (required).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR management or senior HR role.
- Knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Leadership abilities and strategic thinking.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Added Advantages
- Postgraduate diploma or Master’s degree in HR or related field.
- Membership with a recognized HR professional body (e.g., APT, CIPD).
