JOB DETAILS:

HEALTH ASSISTANT – 10 POSITIONS

Kilwa District Council is seeking to fill 10 positions for Health Assistants.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Form Four graduates with a certificate in Health Assistant training or Environmental Health Technician from a Government-recognized institution.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cleaning work equipment, wards, and the environment.
• Assisting patients with disabilities and the infirm in going to the toilet (urine and feces) and bathing.
• Helping feed patients who cannot feed themselves.
• Taking patients' clothes for laundering.
• Collecting patient samples for testing and following up on results.
• Preparing equipment for cleaning and dressing wounds.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: professional certificate
