Head of Non-Motor Claims

ULTIMATE SURVEYORS AND LOSS ASSESSORS LTD invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced and dynamic professionals for the position of Head of Non-Motor Claims.

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in insurance claims, preferably in Non-Motor Claims.
• Experience in Fire, Burglary, Machinery Breakdown, Fidelity Guarantee, Business Interruption and other commercial claims.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claims assessment and loss investigation.
• Excellent report writing, analytical, communication and leadership skills.
• High integrity, professionalism and ability to meet strict TATs.
• CII/ACII/Dip CII or equivalent is an added advantage.

Key duties & responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Non-Motor Claims team.
• Review and manage complex claims from notification to settlement.
• Conduct and oversee loss investigations and claims assessments.
• Review claims reports, valuations and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with policy terms, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with insurers, clients, brokers, surveyors and other stakeholders.
• Monitor claims turnaround times and ensure timely submission of reports.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the claims team.

Dar es Salaam
