JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:
The Head Cashier will oversee all point-of-sale (POS) operations and manage the team of cashiers. This role requires a responsible individual with strong leadership skills to ensure efficient checkout processes, accurate transactions, and excellent customer service at the front end.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and schedule the cashier team.
• Manage the daily operation of all checkout counters.
• Resolve complex transaction issues, discrepancies, and customer complaints at the till.
• Prepare cash floats for registers and perform end-of-day cash reconciliation and reporting.
• Ensure all cashiers are adhering to payment handling procedures and customer service standards.
• Monitor POS systems for functionality and report any technical issues.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a cashier or retail sales associate, with at least 1-2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in POS systems and MS Office.
