JOB DETAILS:

• Location: Tanzania or Uganda (Site-based)
• Contract Duration: 18 Months
• Position Summary: Oversees health, safety, and environmental practices, ensuring compliance with Electric and oil & gas HSE standards.
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site inspections and deliver toolbox talks.
  • Monitor field activities, investigate incidents, and track safety KPIs.
  • Ensure PPE usage and support emergency response planning.
• Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or Engineering.
  • 2–4 years of HSE experience in infrastructure or oil & gas projects.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001, safety regulations, and audit tools.
  • Preferred: NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA 30 certifications; fluency in Swahili or French.
