HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly experienced and proactive HSE Manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements and to foster a safe and sustainable working environment across all logistics operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSE strategies, policies, and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with national occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections, providing recommendations and corrective action plans.
* Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and implement preventive measures.
* Oversee HSE training programs and awareness campaigns for employees at all levels.
* Monitor and analyze HSE performance indicators, preparing regular management reports.
* Collaborate with line managers to integrate HSE standards into daily operations.
* Manage emergency response planning and drills to ensure preparedness.
* Promote a strong HSE culture across the organization.
* Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely reporting of incidents as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Professional certification in HSE (NEBOSH/OSHA/IOSH) is a strong advantage.
* Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in HSE management, preferably in the logistics, transport, or industrial sector.
* Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
