The EACOP system is divided into three components, above ground installations (AGIs), pipelines and offshore storage terminals (MST).The above ground installation (AGI) consists of 6 pumping stations (PS-1 to PS-6) and 2 pressure reducing stations (PRS-1 and PRS-2) along the pipeline route.
The pipeline consists of 1,443 kilometers of 24-inch continuous heated export pipelines, connecting the Kabaale hub pumping station (PS-1) in the Hoima region of Uganda and the Tanga region storage reservoir in Tanzania . The pipeline includes all intermediate valve chambers , electric heat tracing (EHT) systems, high voltage distribution (HV) and fiber optic (FO) cables and related equipment, as well as the EHT substation.
Job Description:
- Assist to oversee all HR/IR related matters.
- Implement LMP at CPP sites.
- Recruitment and onboarding process
- Participate proactively in local and expatriate staff consultative committees; schedule and organize
- meetings, research and deliver responses to requests/queries received, complete the Minutes of Meetings (MOMs) and circulate to participants.
- Provide training to employees.
- Conduct disciplinary actions.
- Maintaining employee records and preparation of HR/IR reports.
- Monitoring employee performance.
- Monitor sub-contractor HR/IR performances
- Ensure CVs are collected from the lockbox placed at the village offices during the recruitment processes.
- Pension and benefit administration for the local labours.
- Responsible (jointly) for the Local Employment Register.
- Look after the health, safety and welfare of all employees and arrange pre medical checkups for employees.
- Collaborate with EACOP IRS regarding HR/IR related issues.
- Maintain an updated HR/IR Tracker and follow issues to conclusion.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Minimum 2-3 years of HR/IR-related work experience.
- Proven experience in HR/IR management, ideally in construction or project environments.
- Familiarity with the Labour Act and its application in project environments. Strong knowledge of grievance resolution, recruitment, and industrial relations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
