Responsibilities
- Manage all warehouse operations, inventory, freight, and personnel
- Drive operational efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement
- Maximise warehouse capacity and shipping optimisation
- Own customer experience, scheduling, and service delivery
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and hazardous material requirements
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control
- Identify new facilities and grow warehouse capacity
- Drive business development and onboard new customers
- Collaborate with Road Freight, Clearing & Forwarding, Trading, and Fleet teams
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards
- Promote a safe, compliant, and accident-free workplace
Requirements
- University Degree (MBA / Accounting / Audit preferred)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse/logistics operations
- Proven experience managing a business unit with full P&L ownership
- Experience with bulk and break-bulk cargo / commodities
- Strong financial, leadership, and analytical skills
- Proficient in MS Office, SAP, and Warehouse Management Systems
- Knowledge of import/export, transit clearance, and terminal documentation
- International/African exposure advantageous
