Grid Power Projects Supervisor

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and confirm grid requirements.
• Supervise line construction and electrical installations.
• Handle TANESCO applications and follow up.
• Plan and coordinate project schedules and resources.
• Review BOQs, control costs and manage variations.
• Coordinate materials, logistics and transport.
• Supervise contractors and team performance.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and energization.
• Ensure HSE and quality standards are met.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders and provide project reports.

Minimum qualifications & experience

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• At least 3–5 years’ practical experience in grid connection, power distribution or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Practical knowledge of HT/LV distribution networks, 11kV/33kV systems, transformers, pole lines, ACSR/ABC conductors, metering, earthing, protection systems, electrical drawings and BOQs.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within Tanzania.
