Job description

Rahami Agri Group Limited is inviting applications from talented, practical and highly motivated recent graduates to join a five-month cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL) and biochar research, development and pilot production programme during the 2026/27 cashew season.

Key responsibilities

The successful candidates will:

• Conduct and document CNSL production trials.
• Conduct biochar production trials.
• Establish reliable production and material data.
• Support laboratory testing and product quality monitoring.
• Develop production and safety procedures.
• Track production costs and unit economics.
• Build product traceability records.
• Conduct market and buyer research.
• Evaluate possible commercial applications for CNSL and biochar.
• Prepare recommendations for future commercial production.

Requirements

Applicants should:

• Be recent graduates or final-stage graduates from a recognized university or technical institution.
• Be interested in practical industrial research and product development.
• Be comfortable working in factory and field environments.
• Be willing to be based in, or regularly work from, Tandahimba, Mtwara.
• Be curious and willing to learn.
• Be able to collect and analyze data.
• Be able to prepare clear written reports.
• Be responsible, disciplined and able to follow safety procedures.
• Be comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Be able to work independently when assigned a project.
• Be interested in agriculture, sustainability and circular economy solutions.
