Responsibilities :
Operations Management
- Assist the Hotel Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable performance.
- Coordinate between departments (front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance) to maintain operational excellence.
- Monitor inventory levels, ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards, and assist with staff scheduling.
- Act as a decision-maker in the absence of the General Manager.
Rooms Division
- Supervise and support the front office and housekeeping teams.
- Monitor room occupancy and revenue strategies in coordination with the reservations team.
- Ensure that rooms are maintained to the highest standards and ready for guest arrivals.
- Review guest feedback and implement improvements in room and service quality.
Guest Relations
- Serve as a key point of contact for guests welcoming, VIPs, resolving issues, and handling special requests.
- Foster a guest-focused culture among staff and lead by example in delivering outstanding service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction levels and work proactively to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain strong communication with guests from pre-arrival through post-departure.
Time Flexibility & Must Speak Fluently:
- English
- Italian
- French
- German
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel operations or hospitality management, preferably in a resort or boutique hotel setting.
- Strong understanding of front office operations, housekeeping, and guest service procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in hotel management systems and MS Office Suite.
- Fluent in English; Swahili or additional languages (e.g., French, Italian, German) are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Hospitality management diploma or degree preferred.
