JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
The General Maintenance Technician is a versatile handyman responsible for minor repairs and upkeep of the facility. This role covers carpentry, painting, and basic troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs (carpentry, painting, masonry).
- Fix broken furniture, doors, locks, and windows.
- Conduct routine inspections of the facility.
- Assist electricians and plumbers as needed.
- Perform minor welding or metalwork.
- Ensure work areas are safe and clean after repairs.
- Respond to tenant maintenance requests.
Qualifications:
- Vocational Certificate in Carpentry or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in general maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Physically fit and capable of manual labor.
