JOB DETAILS:
Required Qualifications
- Have completed initial flight operations/dispatch course from recognized institution/ approved by TCAA
- Must have valid and currently under TCAA regulations
- Minimum of 2 years working in airport or aviation operational experience
- Clean criminal record
- Must be a Tanzanian
- Must be fluent in writing and speaking English language
- Applicants should have a high level of discipline, communicative and interpersonal skills, analytical, innovative problem-solving skills and time-managing skills.
- Keen eye for small details
- Confident in completing logs and paperwork
- Health and Safety Certification would be an advantage
- Excellent time keeping skills
- Highly organized
- Any helicopter type training will be added advantage
Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning and execution of flight paths.
- Analyze aircraft performance, considering loading, en route winds, and weather forecasts.
- Monitor Aircraft arrival and departure times and adjust schedules when there are delays.
- Liaise with the ground crew to ensure that various tasks, including refueling and cleaning, have been completed.
- Prepare flight paperwork for crew and ensure they receive it.
- Ensure that all passengers and luggage are loaded onto the aircraft.
- Prepare flight paperwork such as flight plans, passenger lists, and any other documentation required.
- Ensure that pre-flight safety and compliance tasks have been carried out.
- Work alongside the captain to authorize the dispatch of said aircraft.
