JOB DETAILS:

• Enabel is creating a talent pool for Financial Controllers to support its diverse projects in Tanzania, including green cities, education, and beekeeping initiatives. This role ensures financial accuracy and efficiency in project operations.
• Responsibilities:
  • Oversee treasury operations to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Verify and support budgetary planning and monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with Grant Agreements.
  • Analyze fiduciary risks and implement internal controls.
  • Manage audits and implement recommendations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants.
  • Build capacity of partner entities.
• Profile, Required Qualifications, and Experience:
  • Tanzanian National.
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Grants Management, or related fields.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
  • Minimum 5 years of financial management experience in a reputable organization or development entity.
  • Minimum 3 years in grants management and donor funds.
  • At least 2 years of team management experience.
• Required Skills and Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of international cooperation.
  • Expertise in financial management, budgeting, and grants.
  • Familiarity with ERP financial tools, public finance regulations, and audits.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and ICT skills (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Experience with government, private sector, or CSOs is an advantage.
