Job Purpose

Bravo Group is seeking an experienced, commercially minded, and technology-driven Financial Controller to lead financial control, revenue assurance, and performance management for one of its newly established dry ports.

Scope of the Role

The role covers financial control, revenue capture and collection, budgeting, cash flow, cost and profitability analysis, compliance, and audit readiness for ICD, CFS, and Bulk Terminal operations, supported by integrated digital finance and terminal systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial control across the ICD, CFS, and Bulk Terminal operations.
• Ensure every container, ton of cargo, and chargeable service is accurately captured, invoiced, collected, and reconciled.
• Establish strong controls to prevent revenue leakage, unauthorized discounts, and unbilled services.
• Prepare management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow reports.
• Develop separate profitability and P&L reporting for ICD, CFS, and Bulk Terminal operations.
• Monitor revenue, operating costs, margins, receivables, and working capital.
• Develop cost-per-container and cost-per-ton performance analysis.
• Lead credit control and customer collections.
• Maintain strong internal controls, statutory compliance, and audit readiness.
• Support management with commercial analysis, pricing, and investment decisions.
• Drive Bravo Group’s digital transformation agenda within Finance, including:
  • Automated billing
  • ERP integration
  • Digital approvals
  • Real-time dashboards
  • Data analytics
  • Cashless and paper-light processes
• Integrate financial controls with physical cargo movements and terminal operating systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial control, management accounting, or finance management.
• Experience in ports, ICD/CFS, logistics, warehousing, transport, bulk terminals, or other high-volume operations is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/accounting systems, budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, and revenue assurance.
• Experience in digital transformation, automation, and data analytics will be a strong advantage.
