flySunBird is a Tanzanian private company operating helicopters for commercial flights in Tanzania. Currently operating in DAR and Zanzibar, we will soon grow to be present across the country. We are fully licenced by the Tanzanian Civil Aviation Authority. We currently operate scenic flights, charter tailor-made flights and corporate/VIP flights across the mainland and Zanzibar. We now have the following sales roles available:-

Applicants must hold the right to live and work in the relevant location. The company will NOT sponsor Work-Residency Permit applications.

Job Overview

We want to hire professional Field Sales Representatives to provide outstanding customer focus and drive/achieve sales targets for our business.

Candidates who are presentable and with strong communication and negotiation skills will stand out.

You must be self-motivated, have the drive to initiate sales interaction in the field, generate and pursue sales leads and be confident in your ability to close the sale.

The role will be supported by a small centralised Call Centre and in-office/marketing support structure but the position is most definitely one that requires minimal micro-management and where initiative and self-motivation are key to success in the role.

Your primary customer focus in this role will be to find and attract direct corporate clients. These potential clients will be from varied industry types.

There will also be some involvement with the travel industry bodies. In short – any company/client that has the potential to benefit from the speed, convenience, exclusivity or just adventure of travel by helicopter or small private aircraft at a time and place that fits their schedule is your potential client.

Previous field sales experience will be advantageous, however if you believe that this role is you, contact us and tell us why! Previous knowledge or experience of helicopters/aviation is not essential as full training will be given to successful candidates that have that inbuilt sales talent.
