JOB PURPOSE

Fragrance World, with operations based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, is a leading and reputable East African fragrance manufacturing & distribution company.

We are seeking a Field Sales Executive to expand our market presence by actively identifying and securing new corporate clients for our fragrance products including perfumes, air fresheners, and related items. The role involves visiting companies, offices, retail outlets, and institutions to promote and sell our products while using a motorcycle for mobility and efficient coverage of assigned territories.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identifying and approaching potential corporate clients, offices, shops, supermarkets, and institutions to introduce and sell company products.
  • Conducting door-to-door and office-to-office sales visits within assigned areas using a motorcycle.
  • Presenting and demonstrating products such as perfumes, air fresheners, and related fragrance products to potential clients.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with business customers.
  • Negotiating and closing sales agreements and supply arrangements with companies.
  • Delivering product samples and explaining product benefits and pricing.
  • Maintaining a database of potential and existing clients.
  • Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by management.
  • Collecting orders and coordinating with the company for delivery of products.
  • Preparing and submitting daily field visit and sales reports.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Ensuring proper brand representation and promotion during client visits.
  • Any other duties assigned by Management in relation to sales and market development.

Qualification and Experience

  • Certificate or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Previous experience in sales, field marketing, or product distribution is an added advantage.
  • Must possess a valid motorcycle driving license.
  • Ability to ride a motorcycle confidently within assigned sales territories.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
  • Good customer relationship and persuasion skills.
  • High level of integrity, discipline, and self-motivation.
  • Ability to maintain proper sales records and reports.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
