On behalf of our Tanzania based client, we are looking for a competent and experienced Field Promoter – Vegetable Seeds

Location: Coastal area

Role Purpose:

To promote vegetable seed products, support sales growth, strengthen distributor engagement, and provide market intelligence through field-based marketing activities and farmer outreach programs.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Marketing and sales of vegetable seeds within the assigned territory.
• Establish and manage demonstration plots for vegetable seed products.
• Train farmers and other stakeholders on vegetable seed products and related agronomic practices.
• Support distributors through the promotion of vegetable seed products.
• Compile and submit weekly reports summarizing marketing and sales activities.
• Monitor changes in the market environment, anticipate market trends, and recommend appropriate actions.
• Periodically prepare market intelligence reports summarizing competitor activities, sales trends, and market prices.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications / Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agribusiness, Agricultural Extension, or a related field.
• Experience in agricultural sales, marketing, or extension services is an added advantage.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Ability to prepare reports and analyze market information.
• Ability to work independently and meet targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
