Key Responsibilities:

• Teach foundational English skills: phonics, spelling, reading fluency, handwriting, and basic grammar.
• Foster love for reading through storytelling, guided reading sessions, and library visits.
• Develop students’ ability to write simple sentences, paragraphs, and short stories.
• Prepare age-appropriate assessments and termly report cards.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding literacy progress.
• Use multisensory and play-based learning methods for young learners.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Primary Education or Early Childhood Education with focus on literacy.
• Teaching certification (PTC, DTE, or equivalent).
• 1–3 years’ primary teaching experience.

• Ability to differentiate instruction for mixed-ability groups.
