The Elite Technician Trainee role at Eezy Group is an entry-level technical position focused on vehicle inspection, valuation, and installation of vehicle tracking systems. In practical terms, the role involves assessing the condition and value of vehicles, verifying their roadworthiness, and supporting technical operations such as fitting and testing GPS tracking devices. It is both office-to-field oriented: you evaluate vehicles for valuation purposes and also carry out controlled technical installations while ensuring accuracy, safety, and data integrity.
Key responsibilities:
- Inspect motor vehicles and estimate their market value based on condition and market data.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and body-related issues and advise accordingly.
- Conduct road tests to determine vehicle roadworthiness.
- Maintain daily records of all vehicle valuations and assessments.
- Provide updates on trends and changes in the automotive market.
- Assist in resolving disputes related to vehicle valuation.
- Install and conceal vehicle tracking devices according to approved procedures.
- Ensure correct capture of client details in installation forms and job cards.
- Confirm installation authorization before proceeding with any work.
- Verify tracking system functionality after installation.
- Maintain secure handling of client data and ensure confidentiality.
- Ensure proper handover procedures, including client sign-off after installation.
Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in Automotive Engineering or related field.
- 0–1 year of experience (entry-level / trainee role).
- Valid driving license.
- Basic mechanical knowledge (engine, electrical, and body systems).
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Strong attention to detail and procedural discipline.
- Safe and responsible driving behavior.
