Job Summary

The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures throughout the property. This role ensures that all electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting systems.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and defects.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and guest-reported issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Coordinate with other departments for scheduled maintenance and projects.
• Order and maintain inventory of electrical supplies and tools.
• Train and supervise junior technicians or apprentices as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical certification or diploma required.
• Valid electrician's license (as required by local regulations).
• Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in hospitality or commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety codes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing and hand tools.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Good physical condition and manual dexterity.
• Flexibility to work shifts, on-call, weekends, and holidays.
