Background

We are hiring an Electrical Engineer to support the design, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults in production machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Experience reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams and control schematics.
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and electrical safety checks on production equipment.
  • Experience working closely with machine operators and production teams to support smooth machine operation.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an industrial electrician / engineer in a manufacturing or processing environment (feed mill, food processing, or related industry)

Proven experience supporting extrusion machines, boilers, dryers, mixers, grinders, and pelletizing or feed processing equipment.

Strong practical knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including:

  • Motors and motor control panels
  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
  • Star–delta starters
  • Sensors, relays, contactors, and breakers

Basic knowledge of PLC systems (fault identification and simple troubleshooting is sufficient; programming is an added advantage).

Experience working with boiler electrical systems, including safety interlocks, control panels, and alarms.

Strong understanding of industrial safety standards, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and electrical hazard prevention.

Technical certification from VETA or a recognized industrial training institution is an added advantage.
