Responsibilities or duties

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers while ensuring excellent customer service. The role involves loading and unloading items, verifying delivery details, maintaining the assigned vehicle or motorcycle in good condition, and ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.

Qualifications or requirements

Requirements:

• Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a motorcycle or motor vehicle safely.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit to load, unload, and transport goods.
• Ability to use a smartphone and delivery applications.
• Honest, reliable, and responsible.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery schedules.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV) or higher.
• Valid driving license appropriate for the assigned vehicle (Motorcycle or Motor Vehicle).
• Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or courier services is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of road safety regulations and local routes.

• Pick up and deliver goods to customers within assigned routes.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of items to clients.
• Inspect and confirm goods before and after delivery.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures.
• Ensure the vehicle/motorbike is clean and in good working condition.
• Follow all traffic rules and company safety procedures.
• Report any delays, accidents, or vehicle issues immediately.
• Assist in loading and offloading goods when required.
• Handle customer interactions professionally during deliveries.
• Submit daily delivery reports to the supervisor.
