Position: Declaration Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit customs declarations through the relevant customs systems.
• Verify shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and permits before declaration.
• Ensure compliance with customs laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Coordinate with customs officials regarding cargo clearance.
• Monitor declaration status and resolve any issues affecting cargo clearance.
• Maintain accurate records of declarations and supporting documents.
• Liaise with clients regarding customs requirements and documentation.
• Ensure timely clearance of cargo to avoid unnecessary delays and penalties.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Knowledge of customs procedures and declaration systems.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
