JOB DETAILS:

Duties and Responsibilities

i) To inspect the safety of fishing boats;

ii) To clean fishing boats;

iii) To maintain the cleanliness of fishing gear and fish storage containers;

iv) To perform minor repairs on fishing gear; and

v) To perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

To be employed, candidates must be Form Four (IV) graduates who hold a Certificate in Fisheries Technology from colleges of the Fisheries Education and Training Agency (FETA), or a certificate in Marine Services from the Dar es Salaam Maritime Institute (DMI), or an equivalent qualification from other government-recognized institutions.
