Background

C. Steinweg Bridge Tanzania Ltd is hiring for the position of Debtors Controller. Operational Excellence Since 1847.

Role Purpose

The overall purpose of the job is to ensure that all suppliers' invoices are checked, captured, reconciled and paid on time; reconcile debtor accounts; collect monies owed to the company; resolve queries whilst adhering to all applicable policies, procedures and requirements both company and legislative.

Key Responsibilities

• Debtors Invoicing: Manage Debtors invoicing process and printing Daily EFT invoices.
• VAT Portal & Invoices: Manage Application of Credit related to VAT on the TRA Portal; sending invoices to clients and Raft, sorting Raft queries.
• Reconciliations & Reporting: Prepare Monthly sales recon Vs Debtors Audit Trail; print Daily Z-report and update working; pulling and sending Debtor Audit trail.
• Operational Follow-up: Follow-up on supporting Documents from operations.
• Receipts & Cash Connect: Allocation of the Receipts; pulling statement from Cash connect and send to Clients; Updating comments on Cash Connect.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field from a reputable institution.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an accounting role, or a graduate with accounting principles.

Technical Skills & Competencies

• MS Office Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Interpersonal Skills: High Level Communications & Interpersonal skills.
