Job Description
The Credit & Invoice Supply Manager position is a strategic role responsible for building and managing a strong pipeline of invoice financing and working capital opportunities. The successful candidate will source qualified borrowers, assess creditworthiness, structure financing solutions, maintain relationships with lending partners, and ensure the growth of a high-quality financing portfolio while maintaining strong credit standards and risk controls.
Responsibilities
The Credit & Invoice Supply Manager will play a key role in client acquisition, credit assessment, portfolio management, stakeholder engagement, and risk monitoring to support sustainable portfolio growth.
- Develop strategies to source businesses requiring invoice financing, asset financing, and working capital facilities
- Identify and recruit SMEs, distributors, suppliers, contractors, and service providers requiring financing solutions
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of financing opportunities across various industries and sectors
- Generate sustainable deal flow and expand financing opportunities within target markets
- Evaluate business profiles, financing requirements, invoice quality, cash flow strength, and repayment capacity
- Collect client documentation, complete KYC requirements, verify financial records, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Review and analyze invoices, purchase orders, contracts, bank statements, and other financial information
- Collaborate closely with credit, risk, legal, and operations teams during deal assessment and execution
- Prepare credit assessments, develop deal summaries, and make financing recommendations
- Structure suitable financing solutions tailored to client needs
- Identify credit risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies
- Support approved financing deals through disbursement and implementation stages
- Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers and maintain strong client relationships
- Provide ongoing client support and identify repeat financing and cross-selling opportunities
- Track invoice submissions, repayments, borrower performance, and portfolio quality indicators
- Build and maintain relationships with commercial banks, investors, financial institutions, and financing partners
- Coordinate referrals, underwriting requirements, and portfolio growth initiatives
- Monitor repayment behavior and identify early warning signs of potential default
- Escalate high-risk accounts and support collection and recovery activities when necessary
- Ensure portfolio quality remains within acceptable risk limits
- Prepare reports on lead generation, conversion rates, portfolio performance, and repeat business trends
- Monitor developments in SME lending, trade finance, invoice financing, and working capital markets
- Recommend improvements to enhance business performance and competitiveness
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in credit analysis, SME financing, relationship management, and financial risk assessment within banking or financial services environments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in asset financing, invoice financing, commercial lending, trade finance, credit analysis, or banking operations
- Proven experience in credit origination and SME financing
- Strong knowledge of working capital financing and invoice financing products
- Experience in financial statement analysis and bank statement analysis
- Knowledge of credit documentation, KYC procedures, and compliance processes
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and transaction evaluation
- Experience in portfolio monitoring, early warning identification, and recovery support activities
- Familiarity with CRM systems, credit management platforms, and pipeline management tools
