Background

Internship offers hands-on experience in corporate communications, public relations, and stakeholder engagement within a large-scale international project.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:​Assist in creating and editing content for various communication channels, including social media, newsletters, press releases, and the company website.

Social Media Management:​Support the management of EACOP’s social media accounts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance metrics.

Event Coordination:​Assist in planning and organizing events, including press conferences, community outreach programs, and internal meetings.

Media Monitoring:​Monitor media coverage and compile daily reports on relevant news and developments related to the project and the industry.

Stakeholder Engagement:​Support the communication team in engaging with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and industry partners.

Research:​Conduct research on communication trends, best practices, and relevant topics to inform the communication strategy.

Administrative Support:​Provide administrative support to the communication team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining contact lists, and organizing files.

Qualifications:

Education:​Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Must provide an introduction letter from the university and a copy of the student ID.
  • Must provide a partial transcript/testimonial showing current academic scores with a minimum of an upper-second grade.
  • Must be available full-time for the duration of the internship.
  • Must submit a letter of motivation explaining the reasons for your interest in joining EACOP.

Skills:

  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
