Background
Internship offers hands-on experience in corporate communications, public relations, and stakeholder engagement within a large-scale international project.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:Assist in creating and editing content for various communication channels, including social media, newsletters, press releases, and the company website.
Social Media Management:Support the management of EACOP’s social media accounts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance metrics.
Event Coordination:Assist in planning and organizing events, including press conferences, community outreach programs, and internal meetings.
Media Monitoring:Monitor media coverage and compile daily reports on relevant news and developments related to the project and the industry.
Stakeholder Engagement:Support the communication team in engaging with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and industry partners.
Research:Conduct research on communication trends, best practices, and relevant topics to inform the communication strategy.
Administrative Support:Provide administrative support to the communication team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining contact lists, and organizing files.
Qualifications:
Education:Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Must provide an introduction letter from the university and a copy of the student ID.
- Must provide a partial transcript/testimonial showing current academic scores with a minimum of an upper-second grade.
- Must be available full-time for the duration of the internship.
- Must submit a letter of motivation explaining the reasons for your interest in joining EACOP.
Skills:
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
