EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a Form Four or Form Six graduate with a Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a Government-recognized College.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing all duties carried out by an Assistant Clinical Officer
- Identifying and treating common diseases
- Supervising the performance of staff under them and performing minor surgeries
- Participating in planning and implementing Primary Health Care services
- Advising and mobilizing citizens to contribute to Community Health Fund services
- Keeping records of equipment and tools used for service provision
- Keeping records and preparing and submitting implementation reports
- Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor
- Advising and mobilizing citizens to contribute to Community Health Fund services
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS
- All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged not less than 18 years and not exceeding 45 years.
- All applicants must attach a birth certificate certified by an Advocate/Lawyer.
- Applicants already employed in entry-level positions in the Public Service should not apply and must adhere to directives in Circular No. CCA.45/257/01/D/140 dated November 30, 2010.
- Applicants must attach detailed CVs with reliable addresses and phone numbers, along with names of three reliable referees.
- All applications must include professional certificates, CV, and certified copies of certificates verified by an Advocate/Lawyer including Form Four certificates, Form Six certificates (where applicable), and training certificates based on job qualifications.
- Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statement of Results, Form IV and Form VI Results Slips will not be accepted.
- Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).
- Applicants who retired from Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the Chief Secretary.
- Applicants with name discrepancies in Professional Certificates, Birth Certificates, and NIDA must attach a Deed Poll.
- Applicants with spelling discrepancies between National ID and Professional Certificates, Form Six, Form Four, and Birth Certificates must attach an Affidavit.
- Applicants whose jobs require licenses must attach copies of those licenses.
- Applicants who submit false information and qualifications will face legal action.
