Clinical Officer – 3 Positions

Job Summary

The Clinical Officer will provide primary and general clinical care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health education, and follow-up services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and physical examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage common illnesses and conditions.
• Request and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic investigations.
• Prescribe and administer treatment within professional scope.
• Provide emergency and outpatient clinical services.
• Monitor patients' progress and arrange follow-up care.
• Refer patients to medical officers, specialists, or other facilities when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.
• Provide patient and community health education.
• Support preventive healthcare and health promotion programmes.
• Collaborate with nurses, medical officers, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Clinical Medicine/Clinical Officer studies or equivalent.
• Valid registration and practising licence with the relevant Professional Council.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient-centred, ethical, and professional approach.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: associate degree
