  • Able to encourage students to aim high and achieve their goals.

What The School Is Looking For

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a Tanzanian.
  • Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Must have graduated from an accredited university within East Africa.
  • Must have excellent academic performance records.
  • Must be ready to take a 1-hour exam in the advertised subject to prove competency for teaching A-Level.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience for Advanced Level.
  • Must have outstanding teaching performance from top-performing schools.
  • Must have strong ability to deliver NECTA curriculum content using modern teaching methods and strategies.
  • Must support a competency-based approach to learning and assessments.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, as English is the medium of instruction.
  • Must be ready to be assessed on English competency.
  • Must be a well-rounded, independent, and mature individual with diverse knowledge in education.
  • Must observe teaching ethics and demonstrate a refreshing approach to teaching.
  • Must have a vibrant, diligent, and motivating personality for students.
  • Must be able to adapt to the school’s diverse policies and procedures, including working over weekends when required.

Ability to competently teach a second subject in secondary school is an added advantage.
