CAPRIPOINT LOUNGE AND BAR is looking for an experienced BBQ Chef who knows their job well to join our team. We need someone capable of preparing and grilling meat to a high standard, who knows the techniques to ensure food is delicious and appealing to customers. Since our location is highly competitive, we need a chef who is creative, maintains cleanliness, works quickly, and cares about the quality of customer service. The starting pay is between TZS 8,000 – 10,000 per day, and as customer numbers increase, pay will rise to TZS 15,000 – 20,000 per day by agreement and based on good performance.

Responsibilities

The Chef will be responsible for preparing, grilling, and ensuring that BBQ meats are of an acceptable quality for customers. They are expected to know how to prepare spices, control the fire, ensure good flavor, and provide service that is competitive in the market.

The Chef will ensure the cooking area is kept clean at all times, adhere to food hygiene standards, take care of work equipment, oversee the proper use of ingredients, and collaborate with the team to ensure customers receive excellent service.

Qualifications

Applicants must have experience in BBQ cooking and know the job well. We need someone who is creative with recipes, honest, disciplined, fast-paced, and capable of working in a highly competitive food business environment.
