Job Purpose
The successful candidate will maximize transformation outcomes by proactively managing the people, behavioral and business impacts of change. They will lead change strategy and execution across initiatives by ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives, consistent delivery practices, and an integrated change approach.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Change Planning & Strategy
- Devise strategies that define scope, impact, and readiness for change.
- Develop comprehensive change management strategies and roadmaps for projects and initiatives, including measurable success metrics.
Stakeholder Management
- Conduct impact assessments against the organisation’s operating model dimensions and corroborating plans to ensure seamless change transitions
- Build sponsorship and leadership alignment to secure executive and managerial support.
Communication Management
- Design and execute tailored communication plans for diverse stakeholder groups.
- Maintain two-way communication channels, ensuring feedback loops with all impacted stakeholders.
Training & Capability Building
- Partner with Learning & Development to identify training needs and skill gaps associated with change programs.
- Support knowledge transfer, coaching, and capability-building to ensure employees feel confident and capable post-change.
Resistance & Risk Management
- Perform stakeholder mapping and analysis to anticipate resistance and define mitigation actions.
- Coach project and line managers in team-level resistance handling.
- Escalate critical risks affecting adoption and embedding to senior leadership.
Adoption & Reinforcement
- Develop KPIs and metrics to track adoption, usage, and behavioral change, ensuring regular reporting.
- Reinforce change readiness and adoption plans to embed transformation into “business as usual.”
- Promote and adhere to Group procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, Competition Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC)
Job Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, Project Management or related
- 3-5 years’ experience and knowledge of Organizational Effectiveness/Change Management, with a track record of successful change initiatives
- Certified Change Practitioner (Prosci, CCMP or equivalent)
- Experience using core change management methodologies (AKDAR, PDCA)
- Experience with building strong relationships with key stakeholders across functions
- Experience in setting up programmes using Agile methods
- Lean & Six Sigma Green Belt is an added advantage.
