About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to manage financial transactions efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will accurately process payments, maintain cash balances, and support the smooth operation of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Process cash, card, and mobile payment transactions accurately.
- Issue receipts, invoices, and refunds as required.
- Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding products, prices, and services.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and daily sales.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Report discrepancies and suspicious transactions promptly.
- Support other operational duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is an advantage.
- Minimum of 1–2 years' experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role.
- Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
- Strong numerical and communication skills.
- High level of honesty, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
