Responsibilities or duties
- Read and interpret carpentry drawings, plans, and work instructions.
- Measure, cut, shape, join, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials accurately.
- Construct, repair, and install wooden structures such as doors, windows, cabinets, fences, partitions, and furniture.
- Operate and maintain carpentry machinery and tools safely.
- Perform other assigned duties to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with established standards.
Qualifications or requirementsÂ
- Experience in construction of wooden structures for storage and housing.
- Proper use of carpentry tools.
- Ability to work with hand tools.
- Proper care and maintenance of woodworking machines.
Experience needed
At least 2 years of experience in carpentry or joinery/construction work.
