Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • 3–5 years of experience using CBM tools such as vibration analyzers, infrared cameras, and ultrasonic testers
  • Required skills
  • Strong technical background in mechanical engineering
  • Proficiency in CBM tools (vibration analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasonic testing)
  • Analytical skills to interpret equipment data and recommend solutions
  • Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance strategies
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with operations, planning, and maintenance teams

Roles and responsibilities

  • Conduct vibration analysis on equipment such as fans, gearboxes, and pumps, and report findings
  • Ensure proper alignment and balancing of rotating equipment to minimize wear
  • Perform thickness measurements to detect corrosion or material thinning in vessels and piping
  • Carry out oil analysis to identify contamination or wear in lubricants
  • Maintain and calibrate CBM tools to ensure accurate readings
  • Prepare weekly and monthly condition monitoring reports for maintenance and operations teams
