About the Role
We are looking to hire business development managers, specialists, or firms to lead resource mobilization, partnership building, and successful proposal and grant development, focusing on building and converting a pipeline of opportunities within the non-profit or development sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead resource mobilization, partnership building, and successful proposal and grant development.
- Conduct prospect research and pipeline management.
- Develop proposals and sponsorship packages.
- Build corporate and institutional partnerships.
- Perform donor cultivation, stewardship, and recognition.
- Build and convert a pipeline from identifying opportunities to cultivating relationships.
Requirements
- At least five (5) years leading resource mobilization, partnership building, and successful proposal and grant development, ideally within the non-profit or development sector.
- Proven record of funds mobilized, supported by concrete examples and amounts.
- Prospect research and pipeline management.
- Proposal and sponsorship-package development.
- Corporate and institutional partnership building.
- Donor cultivation, stewardship, and recognition.
- Ability to build and convert a pipeline.
- Working knowledge of East Africa’s donor, corporate, and philanthropic landscape (advantage).
