PMM Mining Company Limited is seeking a skilled Bulldozer Operator.

Responsibilities or duties

To expertly operate a bulldozer to perform tasks including but not limited to land clearing, grading, spreading, backfilling, and pushing materials to prepare sites for construction and mining activities.

• Operate bulldozers (e.g., Caterpillar D8, D9, D10) to move earth, rock, and other materials.
• Interpret grade plans and work from survey stakes to achieve precise levels and slopes.
• Perform dozer maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues.
• Coordinate smoothly with excavator operators, grader operators, and dump truck drivers in a production cycle.
• Use attachments (rippers, winches) effectively for various tasks.
• Ensure efficient and productive use of the machine while minimizing fuel consumption and wear.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area around the equipment.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Proven experience as a Bulldozer Operator in mining or large earthworks.
• Valid operator's license/certificate from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in mining or heavy civil construction.
• Proven track record of working in remote site locations.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Relevant trade certification, vocational training, or operator licenses.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging outdoor environments.
• Fluency in Kiswahili; working knowledge of English is an advantage.
