JOB DETAILS:

Qualifications

Holder of a Diploma in Nursing, Midwifery, or equivalent qualifications from a reputable institution. Must be licensed by the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To provide nursing care to patients.
• To administer medicines and treat patients as prescribed.
• To adhere to the rules and regulations of DDA.
• To provide health education to patients and their relatives.
• To supervise junior nursing cadres.
• To conduct ward rounds.
• To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by his/her supervisor.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

All applicants must be citizens of Tanzania, generally not above 45 years of age.

Level of Education: associate degree

• Form IV and Form VI National Examination Certificates.
• Professional registration and training certificates from the respective registration or regulatory bodies, where applicable.
• Birth certificate.

v. Copies of the following documents will not be accepted:

• Form IV and Form VI results slips.
• Testimonials and partial transcripts.

vi. An applicant who is a public servant or has retired from public service for any reason should not apply.

vii. Applicants must indicate three reputable referees and provide their reliable contact details.

viii. Certificates from foreign examination bodies for Ordinary or Advanced Level education must be verified by the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA).

ix. Professional certificates from foreign universities and other training institutions must be verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE), as applicable.
