Duties and Responsibilities

• To teach up to Bachelor's Degree (NTA Level 8 or equivalent),
• To prepare learning resources for tutorial exercises,
• To conduct research, seminars, and case studies,
• To carry out consultancy and community services,
• To supervise students’ projects,
• To develop and review existing curricula,
• To prepare teaching manual and,
• To perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

Holder of Master's Degree in any of the following specializations: Maritime Safety, Security and Environmental Management, Maritime Safety and Environment, Maritime Safety, Maritime Security, Marine Engineering (Maritime Safety), Nautical Science, Maritime Environmental Management, Marine Environmental Protection, Maritime Transport Management (specializing in Maritime Safety, Security and Environmental Management with a GPA of not less than 3.8, and holder of a Bachelor's Degree (NTA Level 8) in Maritime Safety, Security and Environmental Management, Maritime Safety and Environment, Maritime Transport Management, Marine Environmental Management, Maritime Studies, Logistics and Transport Management from recognized Institution with a GPA of not less than 3.5 from a recognized institution. Professional certificate issued by the Chartered Institute of Shipbrokers or the chartered Institute of Export and International Trade or the Chartered Institute of Marine, Port and Terminal Management is an added advantage.
