JOB DETAILS:

Duties and Responsibilities

i)    To carry out lectures, seminars, tutorials and practical for undergraduate programmes;
ii)    To set, invigilate and mark undergraduate examinations;
iii)    To assist senior staff in lectures, seminars, tutorials and practical for postgraduate programmes;
iv)    To supervise projects and practical training for undergraduate students;
v)    To conduct research and publish results;
vi)    To carry out consultancy and public services;
vii)    To undergo postgraduate training to PhD level;
viii)    To participate in relevant workshops and conferences; and
ix)    To perform any other relevant duties as assigned by one’s superior.

Qualifications

Master’s in Exercise Physiology or Master’s in Exercise Science or Master’s in Kinesiology or Master’s in Education Physical Education and Sports Sciences or Master’s in Physical Education and Sports Sciences and Bachelor Degree in Physical Education and Sports Sciences or Bachelor Degree in Sports Sciences or Bachelor Degree in Exercise Sciences or Bachelor Degree in Exercise Physiology or Bachelor Degree in Biological Sciences or Bachelor Degree in Physical Education. Applicants for this post must possess a minimum GPA of 4.0 or a B+ average at Master’s degree level and an undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.8 from local or an internationally, reputable University recognized by Tanzania Commission for Universities.
