ASSISTANT LECTURER (AGRICULTURAL ECONOMICS)

Duties and Responsibilities

• To carry out lectures, conduct tutorials, seminars and practical sessions for undergraduate programs;
• To prepare and present case studies;
• To conduct and publish/disseminate research results;
• To recognise students having difficulties, intervene and provide help and support;
• To participate in consultancies and community services under supervision;
• To attend workshops, conferences and symposia; and
• To perform any other duties that the relevant authorities may assign.

Qualifications

Holder of Master's and Bachelor's Degrees in Agricultural and Applied Economics/ Agricultural Economics with at least a GPA of 4.0 out of 5 in master degree and a minimum GPA of 3.8 out of 5 in the bachelor degree. In addition, an Unclassified Master’s degree by thesis/research only shall be considered if the applicant has a pass grade and has published at least two (2) papers in reputable peer-reviewed journals in a relevant field.
