Kostiv Tanzania Group Limited is seeking a dedicated and motivated Agronomist to join our agricultural team. The successful candidate will work directly on our company-owned avocado farm in Njombe, supporting crop management activities and ensuring optimal avocado production.

Agronomist – Avocado Production

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily agronomic activities on the avocado farm.
• Monitor tree health, soil conditions, irrigation systems, and nutrient management.
• Identify and manage pests, diseases, and other production challenges.
• Assist in planning and implementing orchard management programs.
• Conduct field assessments and maintain accurate farm records.
• Support the adoption of modern orchard technologies and sustainable farming practices.
• Collaborate with farm management to optimize yield and fruit quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Crop Science, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Interest or basic knowledge in fruit tree management—especially avocado—is an added advantage.
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work full-time on the farm in Njombe.
