Responsibilities

• Post customer invoices, receipt, credit note, debit notes and other accounts receivable transactions accurately into the accounting system.
• Maintain accurate customer accounts and regularly reconcile customer balances.
• Monitor accounts receivable ageing and follow up on outstanding balance in coordination with the relevant departments.
• Assist in allocating customer receipts to the correct customer accounts and invoices
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between customer statements and company records.
• Prepare and maintain customer statements and other receivable reports as required.
• Assist with credit control activities and provide information on overdue customer balances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience and working knowledge of SAP accounting software.
• Experience with export sales, export documentation, foreign currency transactions and accounting for export customers will be an added advantage.
