About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and qualified Accountant to manage our financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and support the company's financial health through meticulous bookkeeping and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions, including journal entries, invoices, and reconciliation.
• Prepare budget forecasts and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and ensure timely reporting.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely bank payments and manage company tax filings and audits.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns in compliance with regulations.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity to management.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field. (CPA/ACCA qualification is a plus).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as an Accountant.
• Experience within Manufacturing, FMCG, or Retail environments is a strong advantage.
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP).
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• High attention to detail and integrity.
