Job Summary:
To manage the financial operations of the health facility, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, timely reporting, and adherence to financial policies and donor requirements.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records (ledgers, journals).
- Process payroll, statutory deductions (PAYE, NSSF), and per diem payments.
- Manage accounts payable (suppliers/vendors) and accounts receivable (patient billing/recoveries).
- Reconcile bank statements and cash accounts daily.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements/reports.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and monitor expenditure against the budget.
- Oversee hospital revenue collection (cashiering) and ensure daily banking.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, donor regulations, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Manage donor reporting and fund tracking (for NGOs/Projects).
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or ACCA/CPA certification.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience.
Skills: Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP), advanced Excel, and analytical skills.

Nyuma ya Chuo cha Kiislamu (MUM), Morogoro, Tanzania.
