Job Purpose
The Accountant maintains accurate, up-to-date accounting records and executes daily financial transactions for SINORAY’s commercial operations. Based at the Kariakoo office, this position manages accounts payable/receivable, performs bank reconciliations, prepares financial documentation, and supports monthly financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Financial Recordkeeping & Transaction Processing:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily accounting records and general ledgers.
- Record and process daily financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation.
- Prepare invoices, official receipts, payment vouchers, and associated financial records.
Reconciliation & Ledger Management:
- Perform routine bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable balances to ensure timely settlements and collections.
- Maintain a proper, organized filing system for all physical and digital accounting documents.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Assist the finance management team in preparing monthly and periodic financial reports.
- Ensure full compliance with internal company accounting policies and standard procedures.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related academic discipline.
Work Experience & Technical Competencies:
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant professional working experience in accounting.
- Solid understanding of core accounting principles, bookkeeping, and basic financial reporting.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Hands-on experience using computerized accounting software is a distinct added advantage.

- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional work ethics.
- Good communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
